ID EXPERTS: Helping Start-ups Get Started. Government Relations. CHALLENGE: When Beaverton-based start up ID Experts opened its doors, it had one simple yet ambitious goal: eliminate the suffering of identity theft victims. Seeking a market opportunity with the federal government, ID Experts turned to a partner at Quinn Thomas to build and execute a marketing campaign aimed at federal agencies. SOLUTION: Understanding the need to navigate a complex federal government procurement process and build relationships with key legislators, we designed an outreach strategy to finalize a GSA contract and win key agency and Capitol Hill support. SUCCESS: Because of its contract and effective outreach, ID Experts was one of many companies invited by GSA to secure a Blanket Purchase Agreement for data breach services, which would position them as the primary provider in this space. In the end, they were one of two companies in the nation awarded this unique contract.
